As a Project Manager with Glytec, you will assume responsibility for multiple projects involving the enterprise-level implementation of our solutions at hospitals and health systems nationwide. Our company is the pioneer of digital therapeutics and the industry's leader in insulin optimization technologies and services. We are improving the lives of people with diabetes across the healthcare continuum! This position reports to the Senior Director Project Management, who reports to the Vice President Delivery and Services. As a Project Manager, you will collaborate with multiple departments, team members and team leaders throughout the company.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assume leadership of multiple projects simultaneously, from initiation through post-go live optimization.
  • Develop plans, time lines and agendas consistent with established implementation methodologies, deliverables and resourcing requirements.
  • Prepare documents, meeting minutes, PowerPoint presentations and other materials in accordance with standard operating procedures. Maintain electronic logs in salesforce and Taskfeed.
  • Serve as primary liaison and first point of escalation to client organizations.
  • Cultivate rapport with key stakeholders and constituents at all levels. Communicate roles, responsibilities, expectations and success criteria in clear and compelling manner. Reinforce goals throughout implementation lifecycle and facilitate course correction as needed.
  • Delegate and coordinate tasks and activities involving other departmental teams, including Clinical Services, Data and Integration, Quality Initiatives, and Information Technology, to ensure timely execution and client satisfaction. Provide coaching and mentoring when appropriate. Facilitate periodic sessions in concert with Senior Director Project Management to address successes, milestones and areas for improvement.
  • Spearhead transition and knowledge transfer to Client Services and Account Management organizations upon project completion.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Three or more years' professional work experience in clinical health IT client service organization.
  • Three or more years' professional work experience with implementations involving hardware, software and services; also, dependencies on cross-functional coordination of diverse resources and personnel.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard project management tools, Visio, salesforce and Microsoft Office Professional Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
  • Expert collaborator who is persuasive, encouraging, motivating and able to swiftly diffuse conflicts with composure and diplomacy.
  • Exceptional client-facing interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to cultivate rapport and facilitate communication with project leaders and c-suite executives.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, time management and organizational skills, with significant attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to function independently, take initiative and exercise sound judgment.

PREFERRED

  • Master's degree.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Previous or current employment with a healthcare provider organization.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in Waltham, Massachusetts or Greenville, South Carolina office.
  • Willing and able to travel up to 40% (to client sites and company meetings).
  • Some work on nights and weekends may be required to achieve goals of department and company.
  • Must be able to manage responsibilities within distributed, matrix organization (many fellow employees work remotely or in a different office location).
