Marketing Manager

Waltham, MA

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate setup and management of marketing automation platform and ongoing configuration and management of emails, workflows, lead nurturing vehicles, business rules, reports, dashboards and related tasks. Track, report and triage/classify all interactions.
  • Maintain existing and prospective customer database, including extensive online research to secure or validate titles, roles, organizational affiliations and other information; scrubbing/cleanup and multi-layered segmentation. Perform ongoing lead qualification.
  • Work with key stakeholders in Sales, Quality Initiatives and Clinical Services to gain critical insights and input on user personas and journey paths. Configure and maintain knowledgebase of FAQs.
  • Develop slideware, data sheets and other materials needed to support account-specific interactions pre- and post-sale. Assemble resources as needed for various presentations, demonstrations and engagements.
  • Continually seek ways to improve results by monitoring and analyzing key metrics, benchmarking against industry norms and best practices, and formulating salient recommendations.
  • Perform ongoing collection and dissemination of market and competitive intelligence. Help curate daily news content from several dozen media outlets.
  • Help coordinate logistical details associated with company’s involvement in conferences and events.



  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, information technology or related discipline.
  • Four or more years of post-college experience in Internet and digital marketing administration, to include data management.
  • History of demonstrable success in areas of primary responsibility listed above, either at a technology company, healthcare-related organization or digital agency.
  • Hands-on expertise in setup and maintenance of marketing automation platform such as Hubspot, Pardot, Marketo, Act-On or ActiveCampaign.
  • Above-average proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Superior prowess with web analytics.
  • Strong copywriting, editing and proofreading skills.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare provider industry and the fundamental workings of hospitals and health systems.
  • Extraordinary organization skills and attention to detail.


  • Healthcare knowledge garnered through education or on-the-job experience.
  • Experience in sales administration, account management or customer service.
  • Graphic design/mixed media skills (i.e., proficiency with Adobe Creative suite applications, such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Fireworks, Flash and Premiere).
  • Proficiency with CRM (salesforce, Netsuite, Zoho, Sage, SugarCRM, Microsoft Dynamics or similar).
  • Knowledge of SaaS-based business models.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in Waltham, Massachusetts office.
  • Occasional work on nights and weekends may be required to achieve goals of department and company.
  • Must be able to manage responsibilities within distributed, matrix organization (many fellow employees work remotely or in different office locations).
