Executive Assistant - Sales

As Executive Assistant - Sales, you will support a team that sells our patented and proprietary diabetes therapy management solutions to healthcare provider and payer organizations nationwide. You will build strong relationships with team members and will utilize a wide array of tools and technologies to ensure they have the right information at the right time to effectively and efficiently progress through the sales cycle. You will also support our president/CEO and our chief operating officer with administrative and other projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support company's sales team, sales leader, president/CEO and chief operating officer.
  • Assist with coordination of meetings and travel.
  • Compile, assemble and help compose agendas, itineraries, documents, slide decks and other materials needed for sales and leadership functions.
  • Participate in weekly sales call and other sales meetings to track action items and key decisions.
  • Complete expense reports on behalf of sales leader, president/CEO and chief operating officer.
  • Construct and maintain queries, reports (standard and ad-hoc), dashboards and associated requirements related to sales funnel and account analysis. Communicate with team members to identify and analyze informational and functional requirements.
  • Assist with extraction, aggregation and presentation of data from Definitive Healthcare database.
  • Perform account and market-based Internet research and coalesce findings in various formats.
  • Participate in sales operations improvement initiatives and goal conformance monitoring.
  • Provide administrative help with sales forecasting and target account planning processes.
  • Manage office supply needs.
  • Triage various sales-related issues and help with problem solving and corrective action.
  • Perform other duties as needed in support of sales and leadership organizations.



  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Five or more years’ work experience in sales operations and/or administrative support to executive sales leadership.
  • High level of proficiency with, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and especially PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Exceptional critical thinking, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extraordinary attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate direct relationships with variety of stakeholders, including employees, clients, vendors, partners and others.


  • Five or more years’ experience in front office management.
  • Previous or current employment with health information technology, medical device or pharmaceutical company.
  • Work or volunteer experience with healthcare organization, such as hospital or health system.
  • Knowledge of clinical terminology.
  • Knowledge of diabetes.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in Waltham, Massachusetts office.
  • Some nights and weekends may be required to achieve goals of department and company.
