Clinical Services Coordinator (Diabetes RN, RD, CDE)

Remote/Based on West Coast (Work from Home)

As a Glytec Clinical Services Coordinator, you will be part of a team that helps facilitate the successful implementation of our patented and proprietary eGlycemic Management System®, a software-as-a-service solution that centers on Glucommander™ for insulin titration decision support. You will be involved in the full client lifecycle, from planning and kick-off through go live, optimization and ongoing support, helping coordinate activities both internally and externally.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Function as a clinical liaison to clients and a subject matter expert on the eGlycemic Management System®.
  • Assist with the development of insulin order sets to support clinical practice change.
  • Assist with clinical requirements gathering and associated configuration of Glucommander™ and other eGlycemic Management System® modules, including interfaces to other systems. Perform testing to validate expected performance.
  • Conduct onsite and web-based educational sessions and help develop required materials.
  • Facilitate advance preparations for go-live events and serve as lead for onsite clinical activities.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 client clinical support.
  • Execute downtime strategies.
  • Document user feedback and other insights gleaned from onsite and remote interactions.



  • RN or RD license.
  • Experience supervising and/or training clinicians, either as a job function or for a special project.


  • Experience in, or knowledge of, inpatient or outpatient diabetes care.
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing, nutrition or related field.
  • CDE or BC-ADM.
  • Experience implementing new software.
  • EMR proficiency.
  • Experience with development or refinement of order sets.

Working Conditions:

  • Work remotely from home (i.e., virtual office).
  • Willing and able to travel 50% (occasionally including weekends).
  • Must live near major airport.
  • Flexible hours, not customary 9-to-5 schedule; peaks and valleys can translate to extended hours during evenings and weekends to meet client and company needs.
  • Must be able to manage responsibilities within distributed, matrix organization (many fellow employees also work remotely).
